Telecaster pickups
Leo Fender's design for the Telecaster was based on the slide guitar pickups the company had been producing for some years. The Telecaster pickups evolved into something new, if not revolutionary, then at least very close. Maybe the biggest innovation was in creating something that was easily adapted into large size manufacturing - but still being made to very high standards.
The Telecaster pickups were exquisite because they really sounded different from each other. After some wiring experiments it then evolved into a simple but high quality guitar, with three very distinctive sounds. Making the Telecaster pickups, is really a very enjoyable work to do, so it's pretty obvious you can find my take on this famous design in the Webshop too.
