Overwound Humbucker with Toaster Cover!
- 50mm or 52mm, Alnico 8 Magnet, AWG 43 wire
- Resistance: 11.1K, Inductance: 5.3H
- Another pickup with the superb Alnico 8 Magnet - but this one is overwound and dressed up in a beautiful Toaster style pickup cover. By the way, the name does not imply to Supermen or Magnets - no, it refers to the good old S-8mm obsolete cinefilm format that was used for home movies. But - it was almost twice the size compared to the original 8mm film. This pickup is also bigger and hotter and has lots of grit an’ dirt when cranked up.
- ps. the "Toaster" covers are becoming more difficult to source so in the future I'll probably dress these pickups with the "H-covers" instead.
